Terms of Use
2026-09-05
These terms are the agreement between you and [OPERATOR — registered name and form, to be supplied] for the use of Slotty. By creating an account you accept them.
1. What Slotty is
Slotty is a booking and scheduling app for one person running their own practice. It keeps a schedule, holds records of clients and sessions, counts down prepaid passes, sends reminders, and lets a booking be made by speaking instead of typing.
Slotty is not a medical record system, an accounting system, or a system of record for anything you are legally required to keep. If you have such an obligation, keep your own records; do not rely on us as the only copy.
2. Who may use it
You must be an adult and able to enter into a contract. If you are using Slotty for a business, you confirm you are entitled to act for it.
3. Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think somebody else has access.
One account is one person. If you need a second practitioner to have their own access, that is a feature Slotty does not have yet, and sharing one login instead is not a substitute — everything they do will be recorded as you.
4. Your clients' data is your responsibility
When you add a client, you are entering another person's personal data into our service. For that data you are the controller and we are your processor: you decide what is recorded and why, and we hold it and act on your instructions.
That means, in practice, that you are the one who must have a lawful reason to hold your clients' details, tell them you hold them, and answer them when they ask about them. We will help and will forward anything sent to us, but we cannot answer for you.
Notes are a free-text field and we do not inspect what you put in them. Think before you record health information, or anything else the law treats as sensitive, about a person who has not agreed to it. If your practice genuinely requires such records, satisfy yourself that you have a basis for keeping them here.
Do not add a client who has asked you not to, and do not use Slotty to send messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
5. Voice and AI
Voice booking transcribes what you say and uses a language model to turn it into a booking. Both steps can be wrong: a name can be misheard, a time can be misread, the wrong client can be matched.
Slotty shows you what it understood before it saves anything, and checking it is your job, not ours. We do not warrant that a voice command will be interpreted correctly, and we are not responsible for a booking you confirmed without reading.
What you say is sent to third parties to be processed. The Privacy Policy names them.
6. Plans and payment
Slotty has a free tier with limits, and paid plans that lift them. Prices and limits are shown on the plans page before you pay, and that page is the current one — these terms deliberately do not repeat the numbers.
Payments are taken through whichever till the subscription was taken out in, and the subscription is managed there too. A subscription renews for the period you chose until you cancel it, and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than the current period.
If you delete your account, any unused part of a period you have paid for is not refunded. The app says so on the confirmation screen, and it is repeated here because it is the kind of thing people find out afterwards.
If a payment fails, a paid plan drops to the free tier and its limits apply again. Your data is not deleted for non-payment.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Slotty to break the law, to harass anyone, or to store material you have no right to store. Do not attempt to reach data that is not yours, to disrupt the service, or to work around plan limits by automated means.
8. Who owns what
The app, its design and its name are ours. What you put into it — your schedule, your client records, your notes — is yours, and we claim no ownership of it. We use it only to provide the service, as the Privacy Policy describes.
9. What we do not promise
Slotty is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a reminder will always arrive — delivery depends on networks and devices we do not control.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or losses arising from a booking that was missed, mistaken, or not delivered. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Ending it
You can stop using Slotty and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why first.
We may discontinue the service. If we do, we will give notice and a way to take your data out.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and we will tell you in the app about a change that materially affects you rather than relying on you to re-read this.
12. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION — to be supplied], and disputes are heard by its courts, unless a mandatory consumer protection in your own country says otherwise.
